Sealed electronics, works with all ferrous sprockets (will not work with aluminim, nylon or stainless). The electronic sensor sends a pulse every time a tooth on the sprocket  passes the sensor.

The Gear Tooth Kit includes a Universal Mounting Bracket and a 15' Extension Cable.
